Bell-lloc Winery - RCR Arquitectes

From the Architects: It is a "promenade" to the underground world of wine from a road that runs along the forest and links buildings. Its interior offers rest, penumbra, weight of the earth. There is also air and rain in the tasting room and the surprise of a small auditorium.

The Hero Image (above) shows the architecture set within its landscape, with the patina of the architecture blending into the landscape. From this vantage point you can see how the winery relates to vineyard, the slender form gives clues to how the space inside works.

Below the detail images show how the internal spaces within the slender profile. Dramatic hallways that offer glimpses to the rooms beyond create intrigue. Natural light is used in unconventional ways to draw the occupants through the space.
